Dinan Introduces M-Hunter Packages to Bridge the Gap Between BMW M Sport and Full M Performance

OPELIKA, ALA. — Dinan, the premium performance brand known for refined engineering and high-quality upgrades for European vehicles, today announced the launch of its new M-Hunter package for the G-Series BMW M340i and M440i, G42 M240i, and G45 X3 M40i and G02 X4 M40i. Available with Dinan’s Factory-Matching warranty, the M-Hunter packages deliver an OEM-like driving experience at a fraction of the cost of stepping up to a full M model.

A fully equipped M-Hunter build combines five vehicle-specific Dinan systems, each engineered and validated to work together. Owners can take the complete package or configure any combination of the five systems:

Power: Dinan+ PCU with Factory-Matching Warranty — added horsepower and torque, with coverage that mirrors the BMW factory warranty.
Induction: Cold Air Intake + Turbo Inlet Pipe — improved airflow, sharper throttle response, stronger induction sound.
Exhaust: Free Flow Axle-Back Exhaust with black ceramic tips — deeper, sportier exhaust tone.
Suspension: Performance Spring Set — lower stance and sharper handling while keeping daily-driver ride quality.

A fully equipped M-Hunter M340i produces 455 horsepower and 477 lb-ft of torque, up from the stock car’s 386 hp and 398 lb-ft. It runs 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and posts an 11.1-second quarter mile at 116 mph. Those figures put the M-Hunter-equipped M340i within roughly half a second of the BMW M3 Competition xDrive from 0-60 mph and within a second of it in the quarter mile, closing much of the gap between BMW’s M Performance models and its full M cars.

M-Hunter packages for select BMW M Sport models are available now through Dinan’s online configurator at Dinan.com and at participating BMW dealerships. Buying through a dealership, customers can add an M-Hunter package before the sale is finalized and finance it as part of the vehicle’s purchase or lease, rolling the upgrades into a single monthly payment instead of paying for them separately.

Every M-Hunter build that includes the Dinan+ PCU is covered by Dinan’s Factory-Matching warranty, which mirrors the vehicle’s original BMW factory warranty (4 years/50,000 miles), so owners can add performance without giving up the coverage that came with the car.
