MAHLE Shows Four Innovations at AAPEX 2026

New MAHLE Repair Shop Portal combines expert knowledge, training resources, and product information on one user-friendly platform

LAS VEGAS, NV — MAHLE showcases four innovations designed to support repair shops and aftermarket professionals at the 2026 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX). Among the highlights are the new MAHLE Repair Shop Portal, an all-in-one, user-friendly platform providing technical support, training resources, product information, and direct access to MAHLE manufacturing expertise. The company also show its next generation of ArcticPRO® A/C service units, featuring large touchscreen displays, intuitive user guidance, and integrated audio and video tutorials. Additional product highlights included new additions to the MAHLE air, oil, cabin air, and fuel filter portfolio, including the CareMetix® Natural cabin air filter, the first of its kind to incorporate sheep’s wool for enhanced in-cabin air quality. Rounding out the announcements was an expanded range of heavy-duty engine kits, reinforcing the MAHLE commitment to comprehensive repair solutions for the commercial vehicle aftermarket.

“The aftermarket is becoming increasingly digital, making access to reliable information and technical expertise more important than ever,” said Philipp Grosse Kleimann, Corporate Executive Vice President and General Manager of MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility. “The new MAHLE Repair Shop Portal reflects our commitment to supporting customers throughout the entire service journey, providing a single destination for product information, training, and technical knowledge to help them operate more efficiently and succeed in a rapidly changing market.”

Digital knowledge and support for the modern repair shop
The new MAHLE Repair Shop Portal serves as a central digital hub for technicians, service advisors, and repair shop owners, bringing together product information, technical documentation, training courses, webinars, industry updates, services, and expert knowledge on a single, user-friendly platform. A key component of the platform is MIA (MAHLE Intelligent Assistant), an AI-powered assistant that supports product searches and research tasks. Thanks to its responsive design, the portal can be accessed seamlessly across smartphones, tablets, and desktop devices.

Smarter, faster, future-ready: The new ArcticPRO® generation
The completely redesigned ArcticPRO® A/C service units have been developed specifically to meet the needs of modern repair shops, combining productivity, ease of use, and future readiness on a new platform. With four performance levels, MAHLE offers tailored solutions for different workshop sizes and service requirements.

The new models support the refrigerants R134a, R1234yf, and refrigerants to come, and feature fully automated, AI-assisted service processes. Large touchscreens with display sizes of up to 10 inches, intuitive user guidance, and integrated audio and video tutorials make operation easier for technicians and significantly reduce training requirements. In addition, connectivity features and automatic software updates ensure that the units always remain up to date.

MAHLE expands filtration portfolio with sustainable innovation
The new CareMetix® Natural cabin air filter expands the CareMetix® portfolio with a solution that combines high in-cabin air quality and a more responsible use of resources. For the first time, MAHLE is incorporating sheep wool into the filter medium, helping to reduce the product’s carbon footprint while maintaining high filtration performance. The filter reliably removes particles, pollutants, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), providing cleaner, low-odor air inside the vehicle. In addition, its design helps reduce the use of materials that can contribute to microplastic generation, offering a durable and more sustainable solution for workshops and vehicle owners alike.

Complementing this innovation, MAHLE has further expanded its filtration portfolio in North America with more than 90 new part numbers across its oil, air, fuel, cabin air, and transmission filter range. Engineered with sustainable multi-layer materials for enhanced safety, durability, and performance, the new applications provide coverage for a broad range of light- and heavy-duty vehicles, including popular models from Chevrolet, Ford, Audi, GMC, BMW, Nissan, and Toyota.

OE-quality heavy-duty engine kits for demanding repairs
Lastly, MAHLE unveiled 13 heavy-duty engine kits custom-made for engines including top manufacturers. Featuring CLEVITE® engine parts and MAHLE® gaskets, each kit is engineered to OE-specifications to meet the highest standards for quality, performance, and durability.

“As technology reshapes mobility and transforms traditional repair shops into increasingly sophisticated service centers, our commitment to delivering OE-quality parts remains unchanged,” said Christian Karner, General Manager, MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility, North America. “We are building for the future while staying true to the engineering expertise and quality standards that have long defined our aftermarket business. For us, innovation and tradition move forward together.”
