SCT Performance Introduces the Next Generation of Vehicle Tuning

New system helps automotive shops and tuners increase sales and profitability

SANFORD, FLA. — SCT Performance, a global leader in automotive tuning technology, is revolutionizing the vehicle tuning process by launching the Next Gen ecosystem, a tuning platform that is faster, easier and more flexible, allowing shops and tuners to grow capacity and increase profitability.

SCT's Next Gen ecosystem is a major step forward in modernizing tuning technology, moving from a collection of individual devices and software to a single, connected and flexible platform that allows vehicles to be tuned more efficiently.

"For over 20 years, SCT's passion has been unlocking the performance potential of vehicles, and the Next Gen platform makes that more accessible and efficient than ever before," said H. John Oechsle, Chairman and CEO of Derive Systems, SCT's parent company. "Our engineers and technical team have created a system that modernizes tuning by using technology to make it easier and faster than ever before, meaning shops can tune more vehicles and grow their businesses."

The heart of SCT's Next Gen ecosystem is the NXG tuning device, which can flash vehicles up to six times faster than traditional processes, and up to twice as fast as competing devices, saving shops time and allowing more vehicle throughput. Plus, a single NXG device can flash multiple supported vehicles, making it possible to tune different models without having to maintain an inventory of individual tuning devices for every job.

SCT's NXG devices can also be electronically updated, allowing one device to support future vehicle applications and new product features. In addition, the NXG supports both USB-C and Wi-Fi connections, offering the flexibility to work wired or wirelessly.

"Our challenge was to integrate the latest technology into the custom vehicle tuning process," said Chris Maglio, VP Engineering and Compliance at SCT. "By doing that, we've taken a process that traditionally took almost 15 minutes and shortened it to less than three minutes with the SCT NXG device. Plus, the NXG features a digital status screen for in-flash tracking, so the operator always knows the status of the flash."

The brain of the Next Gen ecosystem is SCT's ADVX, a new custom tuning and data-logging software platform. ADVX includes two robust tools: ADVX Editor, which gives custom tuners a modern, streamlined environment for making calibration adjustments, and ADVX Logger, which makes collecting, analyzing and comparing vehicle data easier than ever.

ADVX Editor provides a modern tuning workspace, enhanced 3D graphing and the ability to flash directly to a vehicle using the NXG device. ADVX Logger makes it easier to capture, visualize and compare vehicle data with customizable charts, gauges and multiple log views. Both software tools have been designed to simplify the tuning process, improve efficiency and give tuners greater control over their workflow.

The Next Gen ecosystem and NXG device will debut in the SCT booth (Central Hall, #23335) at SEMA Show 2026, November 3-6 in Las Vegas. The platform will also be featured in the SCT booth (#2501) at PRI 2026, December 10-12 in Indianapolis. To discover more about SCT and the Next Gen ecosystem, please visit https://sctflash.com.
