Trick Rides Debuts World’s First Carbon Fiber 4x4 Ford F-100 at 2026 SEMA Show
Trick Rides reimagines an American icon, blending performance, innovative design and timeless heritage

YUKON, OKLA. — Custom vehicle manufacturer Trick Rides has revealed its latest build, “Tricky,” an all-carbon-fiber 1968 Ford F-100 4x4 pickup at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The truck made its public debut at the TMI Products display in Central Hall, booth #24477.
Built entirely in-house at the Trick Rides facility in Yukon, Oklahoma, Tricky retains the classic lines of the iconic 1968 F-100 while replacing the entire body with lightweight carbon fiber from Brothers Composites finished in Blue Candy paint laid over the exposed carbon weave. The truck brings modern supercar technology to classic American truck styling. In addition to the featured 4x4 configuration, Trick Rides will also offer Tricky in a lowered street truck variant.
Under the hood sits a 32-valve Ford Coyote V8 engine fitted with a Whipple supercharger. Power is routed through a Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission and a nine-inch rear end with a Pro Iron upgrade. Exhaust flows through custom Stainless Works long-tube headers and MagnaFlow mufflers, while Wizard Cooling controls engine temperatures.
The truck rides on a Roadster Shop RS4 chassis featuring a 2.5-inch lift. Fox coilovers and oversized sway bars manage ride quality both on and off the road. Fuel forged wheels wrapped in Avix tires cover a Baer brake system, with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers clamping down on cross-drilled and vented rotors.
The exterior features custom carbon-fiber bumpers, a matching front fascia, flush-mounted front and rear Fesler Glass, LED taillights and Ringbrothers billet door handles and hinges. Inside the cab, a custom leather-and-Alcantara interior from TMI Products is paired with a Dakota Digital gauge cluster, a Billet Specialties steering wheel and a premium Alpine sound system with four speakers and a subwoofer.
“Tricky uses carbon technology and industry-leading parts to outstrip and outgun your traditional F-100 build,” said Jason Engel, co-owner of Trick Rides. “Whether you choose the 4x4 or the street truck version, you get an ultra-light, high-horsepower truck built to perform on the trails or the track.”
